Beth: Stacy, I will sit with you on this stage until the audience gets bored and all leaves one by one. Or, you can get up and start again. Either way, know two things: you cannot disappoint me and I ain't going nowhere.
Randal; [to Deja and Tess]: You're gonna forget a lot of things as you grow up. But always remember how amazing your mother is.
Kate: And I'm supposed to keep this to myself? Sophie is one of my best friends.
Kevin: And I'm your brother.
Madison: Kevin, can we do this later? I don't want to ruin what is such an important day for you.
Kevin: No, you just want to continue to shoot ominous looks at each other.
Girl: Why did you pick me? I'm playing catch-up with everyone else. I was the best at my old school, but here, I'm not the skinniest or the best. I don't even have the best feet. My dad wants me to be a lawyer like him.
Beth: Your dad was a lot like my mom. She wanted me to be an educator like her. But I wanted to dance and I fought to be part of this world. I chose you because you had the same fire that I saw in myself.
Randall: What's wrong?
Beth: That's my old ballet teacher. I haven't seen him since I quit dance.
Rebecca: You're welcome to join us.
Matt: In that case, I'm bringing my famous pumpkin pie. [pause] It's not famous. It's from the grocery store.
