Eric is preparing for a night out and believes it will be great.
Otis is going over to Ruby's to help with the campaign video and Eric is mad, but Otis says he'll catch up with him later.
Eric gets a call from Abbi who tells him to go over to Roman's where they get drunk and prepare for the party.
Eric blows Otis off and tells his friends that he feels like his friend doesn't really get him.
This leads to a conversation with Roman saying he doesn't hang around with straight people.

Otis and Ruby make the video, but Ruby's dad threatens him.
Ruby tells Otis about O ridiculing her when they were teenagers and because she wet the bed.
Otis thinks they can use it but Ruby warns him off it.
Maeve is struggling at school because she still hasn't heard if Thomas read her chapter. When she goes to him, he tells her that she may not be cut out to be a writer.
Maeve then finds out she didn't get the internship and he tells her that people are just better than her.
Tyrone tells her that Ellen's family has sent money to the school and that Ellen will never understand this type of opportunity.
Maeve gets a call that her mother has overdosed and has to return home to England but Otis won't pick up the phone.
Cal gets close to Aisha but just as they get ready to kiss, Aisha introduces PK, her partner.
Adam and his dad do driving lessons but things take a gnarly tur when they crash into a lampost.
Michael is invited to dinner by Gloria and tells Adam who then tells his mom, who looks jealous.
