We offer an array of options, all of which will allow you to witness the exchange between Cole and Goines in 1987, as well as Ramse's role in the bigger picture. So, Ramse arrived in Tokyo 1987 with Cole hot on his trail. Ramse hid in the alleyway and followed Cole to the White Dragon. At the night club, Leland Goines negotiated with a Japanese businessman over the thousand year old "origin" corpse. He passed on the purchase calling it “Himalayan road kill.” Of course, when he runs into Cole on his way to the restroom, and learns the thing contains a virus, Leland changes his mind. Ramsey attacks Cole and a fight breaks out at the club. The businessman breaks up the fight throwing a switchblade between the two to sort the mess out. Ramsey stabs Cole and Leland purchases the corpse. Meanwhile in 2043, alarms warn the team Cole is dying. Ramsey is arrested and thrown in prison. Without proof he’s a U.S. citizen, Ramsey is sentenced to 10 years for stabbing Cole. In prison, Ramse begins to receive letters from the Striking Woman. “We’ve know of you for a long time traveler. You were born Jose Ramse” the letter begins. Throughout his sentence, Ramse was tormented by a large inmate. Though Olivia could not interfere with the timeline, she provided him with books like “The Art of War” which he ultimately used against his tormentor. When Ramsey is finally released, he joins Olivia and her people. At a sort of welcoming ceremony, Olivia collects Ramse and the Pallid Man's amulets. The past and its future version come together and cause a paradox. After the explosion, the plants in the courtyard turn red. Sixteen years later, Ramsey and Olivia invest in Leland's company; Markridge. All the events we've seen, the murders at the Night Room and Henri's death take place but the Army of the 12 Monkeys can not interfere just yet. We jump to Cole and Leland's meeting in 2015 and revisit the dual watch paradox. Cole kills Leland right on schedule, and Ramse is informed of it. He's also told Cole destroyed the origin corpse at the Night Room. The Pallid Man is furious, wondering why they've been set up to fail. Olivia informs him “The cycle must happen exactly as it has. Otherwise, the traveler would have never come.” Yes, the Army of the 12 Monkeys lost the virus in Chechnya, but eventually caught up with Oliver Peters who recreated it for them. Convinced Cole died in 1987, Ramse assures Olivia they can now move forward with the plague. The Striking Woman meets with Jennifer, and sets her on her path to establishing the Daughters; simultaneously assuring Ramse's future comes full circle. Though Whitley assumes the mission is over since they lost Cole's tether in 2043, Jones refuses to abandon the facility. We see that Cole arrives wounded at Cassie's place and reveals that Ramse is the Witness. That's how the Army of the 12 Monkeys has always been one step ahead.
Cole finally splinters to 1987 for his infamous meeting with Leland Goines. Will he manage to stop the Army of the 12 Monkeys?
