A homeless man falls asleep in a dumpster and gets picked up by a garbage truck. He calls 911 and the responders arrive to pull him out of the compactor. 

Abby's mom asks her to stay home and slaps her when she tells her she has to go to work. 

Hen tells Athena about her custody suit from her ex, and Athena tells her about the guy she met at the bar. 

A woman and her son are in an elevator that crashes. The teen is okay, but his mom hit her head and the elevator is filling with water. Buck comes into the elevator on a rope. He gets the mom and kid out and nearly drowns in the process, but is okay. 

Athena and Aaron manage to get themselves handcuffed to the bed with the key on the floor out of reach. Athena calls Abby and asks her to call Hen, who comes over and rescues them after laughing uncontrollably. 

Buck plans a date with Abby in a hot air balloon. Carla calls and Abby has to leave due to her mom having an episode. Buck is clearly disappointed. He admits to Bobby that he's not sure he's ready for this relationship. 

The responders get a call to a house of hoarders who get crushed. The house is booby trapped and Buck gets hit in the face. Chimney manages to get in and rescue the man from under piles of junk. 

Buck tells Abby he's all in, despite the cancelled dates. 

Aaron invites Athena away for the weekend, but she's not ready for a relationship. 

Abby's mom dies in her sleep.
