Recap

Three months after the events of 9-1-1 Season 5 Episode, the 118 respond to a quinceanera, where a young girl sees that a man is lodged in a nearby roof.

Hen works with her new partner Jonah to extract the man whose femurs are sticking out of his legs.

Bobby questions May about how Eddie is doing, and it's revealed that he's working at dispatch as a liaison. A montage of scenes shows Eddie slowly getting less excited about his new job.

Buck, Eddie, Taylor, and Christopher have dinner, and when Buck presses about Eddie coming back to the 118 and if he's happy, Eddie tells him to move on.

Hen tells Jonah that he's just a temporary replacement and shouldn't get comfortable. Later, Hen and Buck ask Bobby about Chimney and Eddie and if they are coming back.

A family traveling gets a call from someone saying that a bomb under their truck will detonate if the car dips below 55 mph. Athena follows alongside the vehicle, and a drone confirms the bomb underneath. With the 118 and 147 alongside the car, Buck and Lucy Donato jump into the truck bed.

Buck and Lucy work to get the family out, and Eddie jumps on the dispatch call and urges the team not to take out the driver as there is a pressure switch under the gas peddle.

Lucy puts something on the peddle so she is able to get the driver out, and everyone escapes the truck before it crashes and bursts into flames.

Josh tells Eddie not to hijack a 911 call again, as he is not a dispatcher.

The team celebrates at a bar, and Eddie sees them laughing but decides to leave. Jonah confronts Hen about giving him a chance while Buck and Lucy flirt and share a kiss.

Buck confides in Hen about the kiss, and she tells him to be honest with Taylor. However, instead of being honest, Bucks asks Taylor to move in.

Athena is called to a neighborhood where one of the neighbors is a hoarder. Once she sees that the hoarder is a neighbor of the family whose car had the bomb, she deduces that he planted the bomb, and she arrests him.

Eddie talks to Christopher, who sees him missing the 118, which prompts Eddie to ask for his job back. But Bobby is concerned about him and tells him no.

Much to Hen and Buck's surprise, Bobby fills Chimney and Eddie's vacant spots with Jonah and Lucy.
