Ari's parents aren't impressed with the apartment she and Bini are living in and want to know if Bini can get a better job to find a bigger place for their family. They offer to help financially if necessary.

Jenny and Sumit go to the marriage office and find out if they can still get married they find out that there is a way they can without his parents permission and blessing. Jenny is ecstatic and sumit is surprised. However he still wants to talk to his parents.

Yazan shows Brittany his job at the barbershop. He tells her that she doesn't have to covert or anything and he'll wait on marriage. But the next day when he shows her his apartment he tells her that she doesn't have to convert but he wants to get married in a month.

He also tells Brittany that he wants to get a translator so they can talk to each other and he can explain everything happening.

Tim and melyza got to counseling. He says that he may have to move back for employment purposes.

Armando and Kenny get official notice that they're marriage request was denied and now they can start their process of appeal. Hannah thinks they're mean for doing that to Kenny and Armando. Kenny is caught off guard by the homophobic wording of their declined letter.

Sumit and Jenny talk to his brother and wife and tell them the news. Jenny breaks down crying and everyone is uncomfortable.

Bini's sisters openly criticize Ari and her parents think she's getting ganged up on.
