The entirety of Team Coulson is overjoyed to return to the present after their harrowing foray into the future. They appear back in The Lighthouse and quickly learn that it was actually built as an end-of-the-world lifeboat by S.H.I.E.L.D. itself.

They also meet Noah, a Chronicom like Enoch, who also assists them with information. They learn that a mysterious light in the sky has been going off -- one of the first signs of the end of the world as seen from the future.

The team realizes that the light is actually a Kree beacon and head out (sans Daisy) to stop it. They encounter Agent Piper, who unfortunately was compromised. The beacon was a trap for them.

In the ensuing fight between the team and the robots sent to apprehend them, a mysterious figure uses a weapon to cut off Yo-Yo's arms, just like her future self. Piper, seeing the fight, helps them all escape.

Back at the Lighthouse, Daisy is shocked to discover that Deke has somehow managed to follow them to the present. Overwhelmed by the experience, he found a bar and then got himself arrested.

Daisy manages to bail him out, but the team is more concerned with Yo-Yo's gruesome life-threatening injuries and the person who inflicted them.

Said person is revealed to be Ruby, the daughter of the ruthless General Hale. Ruby is strangely obsessed with Daisy Johnson.

The Kree beacon, claimed by the team, turns out to be a trap. Noah gets them out of the room and attempts to absorb the impact of the blast himself.

General Hale approaches Carl Kreel to recruit him for some kind of team.
