We offer an array of options, all of which will allow you to check in with Coulson and company after the shocking midseason finale. In 1983, we see Jiaying (Skye's mother), comforting a boy named Gordon who has just gone through Terragenesis. She reassures the teleporter by saying, "It's okay beautiful, I'll show you the way." In the present, Skye is struggling with her transformation as well as the guilt of Trip's death. Coulson talks of Trip dying a hero. "He may have saved all of us" he tells Skye. Everyone was dealing with the loss in their own way. Simmons went back to work, preparing to flood the ancient city's tunnels to prevent any further contamination. Yes, Raina's DNA had changed and her appearance wasn't pretty. She now has porcupine quills. Meanwhile, Hydra leaders planned to replace Whitehall with whomever does away with S.H.I.E.L.D. An overly aggressive Mack argue with both Fitz and Coulson. He blamed Coulson for the team being in that alien city because of the director's obsession with the alien writing. As Skype began to get riled up, things in the quarantine room began to shake. S.H.I.E.L.D. agreed to hand prisoner Bakshi over to General Talbot in exchange for help stopping Hydra. However, it was all part of plan to gain the villain's trust to take out Hydra once and for all. Hunter, in disguise, took Bakshi to a Hydra safehouse effectively exposing them. Elsewhere, Raina met with Cal and begged for help with her condition. She told him she was in pain from the thorns, but he said "You always did like flowers." Cal's primary concern is killing Coulson for denying him his vengeance against Whitehall. Simmons checked in with Skye and informed her that Raina's DNA had been altered and it's possible this was the start of a some type of plague. It was Fitz that figured out Skye had changed as well. Though he explained her heartbeat was almost 300 bpm during the temple collapse and "inhuman" he decided to release her. Why, exactly, remains to be seen. Ultimately, Hydra's leaders were assassinated one by one and Bakshi was turned over to Talbot, as promised. Raina attempted suicide, but was saved by Gordon, the teleporting inhuman. Bobbie and Mack have a little secret, and in the final moments we learned it has something to do with Fury's toolbox.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 Episode 11 Quotes

Fitz: Well it's not good to keep things to yourself Mack. I know what you're going through.
Mack: Really? You know what it's like to lose control? To be trapped inside your own body unable to tell it what to do? To watch yourself hurt the people that you care about?
Fitz: Yeah.
Mack: I'm sorry buddy.
Fitz: It's okay.

Skye: I keep thinking Trip is going to come see me. Make fun of me for being stuck in quarantine. Call me a goldfish or hamster or something. And every time I wake up, I remember all over again. I just can't believe he's not coming back. He should not have been down there.
Coulson: You both went in for a good reason. To prevent Hydra from starting a cataclysm.
Skye: He was trying to save me.
Couslon: He may have saved all of us. The Obelisk triggered a massive earthquake. Imagine how much worse it could have been if he hadn't destroyed it? He died a hero.
