Recap

We start with Amara quizzing Daphne, thinking she's the one Evan is having an affair with. 

Amara notices that Daphne immediately says about what's going on in the office, and says she is hiding something. 

Daphne ultimately manages to get away from the situation, but Evan realizes something is about to go down. 

He is mad when he realizes that Bella is in his office under the guise of a meeting with the mayor. 

She wants him to pull some strings to help her get more leeway to expand her brand, but he shuts her down. 

She threatens him. When he shows up at her home later, he calls things off, but he is shocked when her boyfriend shows up as he is leaving. 

He sneaks into the room and Bella has sex with her boyfriend, and Evan is jealous. 

Stephanie helps Greig get the diner by turning Evan's father and acting like they are close. 

Stephanie tells her father-in-law that she can make sure the deal works out in his favor, and he agrees to let her. 

Titus goes to war with Lori after she threatens him, so he pulls her ad from the air, leading to a wild argument. 

Lori winds up sleeping with Stephanie's daughter. 

Stephanie has a meeting with a man from Birmingham in her plight to take over the family business.

Amara: Let me inform you why you’re here. Poor judgment. You’re having an affair with Mayor Lancaster. I know what it’s like to get caught up. You never think it’s going to go as far as it does until it’s too late, and then you’re deep in a pile of your own making.
