The home gets invaded this week by people looking to recreate a gruesome murder that took place many years ago inside the residence. How are Vivian and Violet saved? Tate convinces the latter to lead the intruders into the basement, where a ghost of some kind takes care of business.

Viewers then learn that Tate, Constance and Moira have a history with the house and want the former to remain Ben's patient, for reasons unknown.

Elsewhere, Ben returns to Boston because his mistress is pregnant. He lies to his wife and says he must go back there for a former's patient's sake. We see Ben sitting with the mistress at an abortion clinic, but he then sees how many voicemails he missed from Vivian, learns something is wrong and leaves.

Did she get the abortion? We don't know.
