Tribeca is put to the ultimate test when Geils is kidnapped and strapped to a bomb by Wilson Phillips, the coffee-crazed, gym teacher seeking revenge.

After finally admitting their feelings for one another, the hook up is interrupted by Geils being kidnapped and Tribeca's fears about falling in love with her partners come to light: eventually, they all fall in love and her partners gets hurt. 

Leading the manhunt for the suspect, Tribeca slowly pieces together a motive: a few weeks prior, Tribeca and Geils did a coffee run and cut in front of the suspect on "police business," to order 37 cappuccinos, causing him to be late and miss an important job interview, leading to his wife leaving him and his kids running away and getting married... to each other. 

Once again, Angie Tribeca's brilliant mind outsmarts the criminal. The team tracks Phillips to his address and finds a vacant house, only to see him in the next house over.

With the bomb about to explode, Phillips gives up, while Tribeca and Geils finally say those three little words and have an epic make out montage. But as the timer stops, the screen goes black. Did Tribeca disarm the bomb? What will happen to Geils? Did that screaming police officer finally stop screaming?
