As a younger woman, Caitlyn wins a sharpshooter competition against Grayson, which sets her on the path to become an Enforcer.

In the present, Caitlyn questions Vi about her attack on Silco's man. She shows her Jinx's notebook from the scene of the attack which provokes a response. Caitlyn gets Jayce to sign off on releasing Vi to her custody.

Marcus speaks at the burial of the Enforcers who died in Jinx's attack.

Later, he meets with Silco and demands someone to present to the Council as the culprit. Silco recommends he point the finger at the Firelights.

Jayce is distracted by manifest discrepancies while Viktor wants to move forward with their research. When Marcus comes in, Jayce starts giving him orders. Viktor has a coughing spell and sees a vision.

Jinx experiments with the gemstone but the power release triggers her memories again.

Caitlyn follows Vi into the Undercity. A Lanes thug tries to fight Vi but loses his clothes instead. Vi gives Caitlyn clothes to hide her Enforcer uniform.

Viktor explains his vision to Jayce. What if the runes are sentient, can learn and adapt?

Caitlyn is impatient while Vi eats but is impressed when she gets intel as dessert.

Mel calls Jayce to her box at a concert to explain that his safety measures have alienated the other councilors. He figures out how to appease them.

Jinx revisits the arcade of her childhood and tries out the punching machine Vi was so good at.

Vi leads Caitlyn into a Zaun brothel, advising her to talk to the locals if she wants information. Vi goes to speak with the madame.

Marcus visits Silco in his office. Silco provides Marcus with doctored evidence to prove the Firelights were behind the Piltover attack.

The madame tells Vi she'll connect her with Silco's Number 2. As she leaves, Vi sees Caitlyn getting into an intimate conversation with a woman and leaves her.

Mel commends Jayce on his politicking and then kisses him. As Viktor gets closer to solving the Hextech puzzle, they have sex in her rooms.

Viktor has another coughing fit, spewing blood onto the work surface near the Hexsphere. It begins to react as he passes out.

Silco takes Jinx to the waters to encourage her to let Powder die so that she can be stronger.

Vi walks the Lanes to the theme song and tracks down Sevika. Elsewhere, Mel wakes up in bed alone. Viktor wakes up with Jayce sitting bedside. Viktor is dying.

Vi starts a fight with Sevika but Silco's lieutenant has a Shimmer-fueled weapon arm and she nearly kills Vi, stabbing her in the gut. Caitlyn shooting down at her from above drives her off. During the fight, Sevika's revealed that Jinx is like Silco's daughter now.

While Jinx works in her lab, Sevika reports to Silco that Vi is back.
