Diggle was shocked when Flashpoint showed up in his cell. The two of them got talking about the past as Diggle wondered why Flashpoint was even in his cell, but he was shocked to realize the dude was just a figment of his own imagination. 

Later, Lyla went to visit and revealed she would do everything in her power to get him out of jail, but Diggle revealed that he's done and for her to stop trying to save him. 

Oliver went full steam ahead with the recruits when they finally proved their allegiance to him after a big fight with Samson, who had become a superhuman. 

Thea ruffled some feathers when she hired Quentin as Deputy Mayor without even consulting Oliver. This resulted in a media storm and Thea getting a shock when Susan ran a different story. 

Later, Oliver took ownership and revealed that Quentin would indeed be joining his team. Thea let Susan know she was in trouble with her after what she did. 

Lyla goes to Oliver to let him know that Diggle is back in home soil and that they need to find a way to save him or he'll end up dead.
