Everyone is determined to figure out if Matty and Jenna are still together, so they recount what happened after they all yelled surprise. Ming retells her version, which boils down to eating chips and guacamole; Tamara punches Colin in the face; Fred Wu helps Valerie with the pinata; Val drops some casual racism and busts open the pinata; and Sadie comforts Matty.

In the end, Matty is willing to forgive Jenna, but Jenna doesn't want to be forgiven. She wants to breakup.
