When you watch Beauty and the Beast Season 2 Episode 1, you'll see just how special true love can be. After two months of not having any issues with beasts or any other dangers, Vincent and Cat are living a pretty normal life as a couple. Vincent is trying to stay optimistic about things, but Cat is convinced the other shoe is about to drop soon. Unfortunately, Cat is right and she's brought in by agents who try to convince her to take part in taking down the people who are running experiments on people which are causing them to basically be some type of beast hybrid. Cat is still not convinced and isn't ready to take the information to Vincent without solid proof. Cat eventually gets her proof when her, and the agents, are attacked by one of the experiments. At the hospital, she finally comes clean to Vincent about everything and he's understandably angry with her and leaves. Cat relays her fight with Vincent to Heather, who takes Vincent's side. Heather tells Cat that they are a couple and they need to have an open and honest relationship if they want things to work. On the flip side, JT tells Vincent Cat is right about wanting to go after these people because they are the only ones who may be able to stop them. The couple apologizes to each other in the end and Vincent realizes how much he needs Cat in his life and proposes to her, which she happily accepts. Don't feel bad if you missed tonight's episode.
