In the aftermath of Cassie shooting Rick, he's transported to the hospital, and Cody's truck and body are found, confirming his death.

A search is issued for Ronald, who tries to remain calm with his mother's help.

Cassie meets with Grace and Danielle and runs into Merrilee at the hospital.

Jenny meets with Tubb to go over the events of the shooting, and he questions whether or not she should have shot if Rick didn't raise his weapon or make a move toward her.

Ronald calls Merrilee, under the guise of being Mitchell, to check on Rick. He then paints his truck and gets rid of additional evidence related to his truck.

Jenny starts working the case to find Ronald, and she reaches out to Jerrie, who offers to assist in any way she can. While the two are meeting, Ronald takes pictures of them.

Ronald hatches a plan to break into Rick's house, which is being combed through by the police.

Cody's funeral takes place, and Jerrie, Jenny, and Cassie sing a song together for Cody at the reception.

Jerrie is followed home by an old friend, and when she gets to the door of her house, there is a note taped to it, seemingly left there by Ronald.

Cassie invites Jenny to join the detective agency, and she agrees to work on this one case.

Rick opens his eyes at the hospital.
