Jenny is rushed to the hospital after her gunshot wound, while Cassie hunts for Ronald in her cruiser, but she can’t find him.

A few weeks later, Jenny decides she wants to be a cop again and goes to Tubb, who offers her a job as Under Sheriff.

Two men meet up for a drug deal, and the man supplying the drugs is shot and later wrapped up and moved to be buried.

Mark shows Cassie a video taken from Scarlet’s neighbor, which shows Scarlet and Deputy Dewey together the day Ronald escaped. When they visit Dewey, he warns Casey to drop it and tells her “they” are watching her.

Jenny tells Cassie she is leaving the agency. Later, she reconnects with an old friend, Travis, who is working undercover, and the two hookup.

Kai’s babysitter, Max, and her friends go into the woods to hang out. At the same time nearby, the man with the supposed dead body in the trunk crashes his truck after the man in the bag attacks him from the backseat.

When the kids arrive, the driver tells them to take the bags and run before being killed. Max takes the bags back to her house and buries them beneath her shed.

Casey and Jerrie go to Dewey’s house, and upon seeing his back window open, they head inside to find Dewey dead. Cassie swipes a file from his house before the cops show and sees pictures of her and Kai inside.

The kids decide not to tell the cops about the drugs and money. And unbeknownst to them, a man is watching them talk in the woods.
