On the way to the event at the school, the police stop the car and haul Jefferson away to claim he was the one involved in the robbery of a liquor store.

The woman says Jefferson is innocent, and he is set free, but he was not impressed at the way he was treated.

At the event, Jennifer asks Anissa to cover for her when she goes to a party.

When Jennifer does not return home, Jefferson tracks her to a seedy nightclub. Once there, he finds her being manhandled by a notorious group.

He uses his powers to dispatch of the men, and one of the police is racist in the aftermath. This makes Jefferson use his powers in order to get the upper hand.

Peter stitched Jefferson up and questioned whether it was time for the hero to return to the streets of Freeland.

Lynn chatted with Jefferson after seeing it on the news, and we got flashbacks of her asking him for a divorce 12 years prior because of his continued association with the hero.

Will shows up at the school and Anissa leaps to Jennifer's defense, but Jefferson had to jump in and get the kid removed from the school.

Will returned later with a group and rook Jennifer.
