Blue Bloods Season 10 Episode 8 is all about people butting heads.

When Henry picks up some work as an investigative consultant for the Administration of Children's Services, he is called to the same scene as Danny is: the Davis family home, where Karen Davis has called the cops after her soon-to-be-ex-husband yelled at her about the divorce.

Soon, Danny and Henry are at odds because Danny sees the ex-husband as a perp and Henry sees him as a decent guy whose life is falling apart. Henry stops Danny from holding the guy in jail on several occasions, only for the man to take his son without permission.

Meanwhile, Jamie and Eddie also find themselves at odds when Jamie suspects that Eddie's partner planted evidence to give himself an excuse for searching a vehicle and arresting a dangerous perp. Jamie calls IAB, but Eddie fears she'll be pegged as a rat now and doesn't see what the big deal is since they got a bad guy off the streets.

And Frank finds himself in the middle of a violent rivalry between cops and firefighters after the Fire Commissioner is arrested during a noise complaint.

Blue Bloods Season 10 Episode 8 Quotes

Frank: Okay, how did it start?
Gormley: As a typical noise complaint. The restaurant manager asked the group to quiet down before asking them to leave.
Garrett: And neighbors called 911 about the spill over into the street.
Frank: Except the restaurant was full of FDNY Brass.

Andrew: You didn't have to call the police, Mom!
Mrs. Davis: This is our son, Andrew.
Andrew: He was just upset.
Danny: That doesn't give him the right to hurt you.
