Blue Bloods Season 11 Episode 16 picks up where Blue Bloods Season 11 Episode 15 left off, with Joe AWOL and possibly dead.

The Reagans sit around waiting until Frank gets a call confirming that whoever's body was in the burning car was NOT Joe's. He says this is good because it means Joe might survive this and get in touch with them. Henry says he can't take another funeral and they'd better bring Joe home safe no matter what it takes.

Danny and Jamie go on the hunt for Joe, who keeps leaving them clues on security footage at gas stations. Meanwhile, Evans breaks into Joe and Dixon's hotel room and tries to shoot them but Joe ends up blowing his own cover to save Dixon's life. Joe and Dixon go on the run but Joe goes into cop mode, shooting near Dixon over and over to force him to divulge the gun buying ring's plans.

Danny and Jamie meet up with Joe at a gas station and Joe insists he needs 12 hours to bring these guys down. Danny and Jamie go with him as backup.

Meanwhile, Anthony illegally breaks into the home of Fagan's girlfriend to get vital evidence, despite Erin's misgivings, because they need to do whatever it takes to bring Joe home, and Frank butts heads with Weber over Joe's handling.
