Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 6 revolves around negative consequences for doing the right thing.

When Erin brings the case against Sandra Harris to trial, Leticia quickly claims that Erin just wants to ruin Kimberly's reputation by making her testify. The judge continually allows this line of questioning and Kimberly herself admits on the stand that she lied and that she thinks Erin wants to sully her reputation so she can have Kimberly's job.

Meanwhile, after a woman fails to kill Danny while he's at the cemetery visiting Linda, Sid assigns Jamie to Danny's protective detail, which Danny isn't happy about. The would-be killer wants out of a gang and is being forced to kill Danny to do it. Baez and Jamie fake Danny's death so that they can send the woman undercover to catch the gang leader who ordered the hit. But things go seriously wrong when the perp doesn't believe Danny is dead.

And finally, Eddie has her hands full with an obnoxious new partner who hates Reagans, but she soon has a bigger problem: an anonymous Good Samaritan who foiled a robbery at a convenience store turns out to be Henry.
