Blue Bloods Season 13 Episode 10 revolves around following gut instincts.

Jamie works with his new recruit on busting a car smuggling ring. After arresting a car thief, the new recruit is too soft while interrogating him. He tells Jamie he had a feeling he should go harder but was afraid to push the guy. Jamie says it's important to trust his gut in this job.

Later, Jamie goes undercover to try to bust the car theft ring. He insists on putting his recruit as team lead despite the boss' reservations.

The operation quickly goes south after a security guard tries to interfere with a theft and the bad guys discover Jamie is wearing a wire.

Meanwhile, Erin hates the idea that people won't consider her qualifications for DA more than they do her appearance. An image consultant recommends brightly colored suits she doesn't like and has her do commercials she feels are inauthentic. Anthony thinks she is being ridiculous and that it doesn't matter why people vote for her as long as she does.

Finally, Eddie and Danny team up to find a vigilante who is posing as a cop and Frank butts heads with the transit chief over a pilot program Frank dislikes.

Frank: Where one can be overpowered, two can resist.
Paul: With all due respect to the Good Book, I'd say that the fact that this is the first injury in the 10 days of the pilot program means it's a good program.
