The episode begins with Tina, Gene and Louise heading down to the go-kart park, only to find that the tracks are closed for go-kart league racing. Tina, Gene and Louise observe the league racing and become eager to join. Without the money to afford a go-kart, they take a broken down bumper car and fix it up. Louise is insistent that she be the one that drives the go-kart, despite the fact that Tina, the water girl, proves to be a much better driver. The Kingshead Island Speeders, one of the more A-list teams, observe Tina's superior driving skills and they recruit her, driving a wedge between Louise and Tina. Turning her outrage into determination, Louise beats the competition and eventually secures herself a spot in the Kingshead Island Grand Prix, where she will race against her sister. Despite their rivalry in the race, Tina ultimately decides to sacrifice her victory in order to help Louise when her go-kart breaks down, causing Louise to win. In the end, they share the trophy. Back at the restaurant, Bob and Linda decide to serve Teddy's surprisingly good home-brewed beer, which proves to be popular. Their success is threatened when a suspicious Hugo and Ron repeatedly show up to inspect the restaurant. Their attempts to evade Hugo and Ron prove to be exhausting, ultimately leading Bob and Linda to give up while they're ahead.
