Brockmire visits AA where he tells stories as if he's on stage before exiting without listening to others. That's when he finds his sponsor in the hall.

Gabby Taylor and Brockmire take over for Matt 'the bat' Hardesty when he takes a sabbatical.

That leads to discussions about Bat's nickname, getting to know Gabby the former softball player. His dick is the answer.

They meet their producer Gus who looks like a mentally challenged farmer.

Gabby is more welcome than Brockmire with the other guys because he's been such a jackass in the past and on top of it, he's not a ball player.

Gabby gets pins for the team to wear on opening day, but Brockmire refuses to participate, but Gus stopped Brockmire from making an ass of himself during their first show. Dead air is better than a mistake of epic proportions.

That night, he returns to the wild his recently adopted tortise and cannot stand the shit in his brain when he tries to sleep.

He calls on his sponsor to help him out. Shirley can't wait to share the funny stuff with her friends.
