Luke moves in closer to bite Buffy, but the cross she got from Angel earlier stops him. She escapes and stops the vampires from taking Xander and Willow. However, Jesse has been kidnapped.

Giles briefs Xander and Willow on the evil world. They're both shocked and worried for their friend. A plan is formulated to find Jesse.

Darla and Luke bring Jesse to The Master as a gift. He discovers that the Slayer has returned to Sunnydale.

Willow hacks into the city website in search of the electrical system map. Buffy realizes the entrance to the tunnel was within the mausoleum from earlier. Giles asks Willow to help with research and Buffy turns down Xander's help to find Jesse.

Principal Flutie catches Buffy as she tries to leave campus. As he leaves, she jumps over the fence and runs away.

Angel is waiting for Buffy in the mausoleum. He warns her not to go down into the tunnels, but she breaks her way in. He also warns that if the Harvest is fulfilled, The Master will escape.

Xander surprises Buffy in the tunnels to help find Jesse.

Giles discovers in a book that the Harvest will happen tonight.

Cordelia tells Harmony about Buffy coming at her with a stake. Willow stands up for her friend, but Cordelia dismisses her. She gets her act of revenge by having Cordelia delete her IT homework.

Buffy and Xander find Jesse chained in the tunnel. Vampires trap them as they make their big escape; Jesse has been turned into a vampire. The pair make it out alive and to safety in the sun.

For failing to stop Buffy, The Master stabs a vampire in the eye. Luke will be prepped as the vessel for the Harvest.

Giles discovers the true history of The Master and the Harvest. If The Master's vessel is able to drain enough blood, The Master will have power to break through the barrier and escape.

Joyce prevents Buffy from leaving the house because she skipped some classes. She sneaks out of the house.

Jesse surprises Cordelia at the Bronze and gets her to have a dance with him. Darla, Luke and the other vampires arrive to take over the club. Luke begins to drain victims.

The group arrives to stop the carnage. Buffy and Luke fight as the others lead people out of The Bronze. Xander accidentally stakes Jesse as a passerby bumps into him.

Buffy fakes out Luke by saying it's sunrise. When he's distracted, she stakes him. The Master's plan is foiled.

The next day after the attack, everyone has blocked out the trauma, even Cordelia. Giles cautions of more trouble to come, but the group joke it off.
