A girl breaks through a window and runs away from masked men in robes. Callie gets captured in the cemetery and brought back to the house.

Buffy and Willow gush over Buffy's crush on Angel. Willow pushes Buffy to ask him out on a date.

Giles scolds Buffy for phoning in her training lately. She defends herself, but he demands she return back to the library after her patrolling. Buffy pouts to get her way.

Two fraternity brothers, Richard and Tom, arrive to Sunnydale High to chat with Cordelia. Tom spots Buffy and wants to chat with her. Cordelia brings over a reluctant Buffy. She and Tom flirt.

After an afternoon of training, Buffy bumps into Angel while patrolling. She finds a broken bracelet on the ground. He shuts her down after it seems like she wants to go on a date with him.

Cordelia asks Buffy to go with her to the party at the fraternity house. Buffy agrees.

The fraternity boys initiate a member and celebrate. Callie begs to be free, but Richard mocks her.

Buffy lies to Giles about her plans for the night. She pretends that Joyce and herself are sick. Willow is shocked Buffy lied.

Cordelia gives Buffy pointers for their night at the fraternity house. Xander decides he's going to crash the party to look after Buffy.

At the frat party, Richard gives Buffy and Cordelia alcoholic drinks. Buffy passes while Richard takes Cordelia away.

A drunk guy charges after Buffy, but Tom saves her in time. The two slow dance and connect.

The frat guys notice Xander has crashed the party. The group pretend he's a new pledge and begin hazing him. He wears a bra and wig as people throw food and drinks at him.

Tom gives Buffy a drink to enjoy. She downs it.

Willow and Giles discover the bracelet belongs to students of Kent Prep School. A girl, Callie, has gone missing for over a week. The disappearance happened a year after similar kidnappings of high school girls.

Buffy's vision becomes hazy. She collapses in one of the rooms. Tom stops Richard from touching her as they need her for a sacrifice. Both Buffy and Cordelia have passed out.

The girls wake up chained in the basement of the frat house with Callie. Tom is conducting the ritual ceremony; his body is covered in markings.

Willow comes clean to Angel and Giles that Buffy and Cordelia went to the fraternity house. She yells at both of them for treating Buffy terribly.

Tom and the cult members summon the demon Machida. When the demon accepts their sacrifice, their fortunes and success will increase.

Angel, Giles, Xander and Willow break into the frat house to save the others. Buffy frees herself from her chains as Machida charges toward Cordelia. Buffy chops off Machida's tail and kills him.

Later at The Bronze, Cordelia goes on a date with Jonathan to cleanse her palette of the Richard.

The Sunnydale newspaper reveals the members of the frat, past and present, are being implicated in crimes related to the disappearances and deaths of women. Their corporations are filing for bankruptcy.

Angel asks Buffy to grab coffee sometime.
