Severide decides to investigate Rice when Casey shouts at him about the divide. He finds out that Rice didn't actually take his regulator to be checked out and tells him to leave Firehouse 51. Rice comes clean that he was worried about his son not having a father and a mother.
The team are called out to a structural fire and Dawson and Severide become trapped with no air. Another chief says the water is being shut off and Cruz goes on the offensive and tells him to leave it on. The man disagrees and Cruz threatens him, but the water is switched off.
Boden then appears and brings them both out, saving both lives.
Casey gets in too deep when Jack spots him chatting with the Chicago PD and finds himself in trouble. Dawson realizes she may be pregnant and goes to try find him, but at his apartment, she finds a bloody corpse, but it is Ketia's.
Chili is shocked when another company beats her to the market with Chilleeze and breaks down, but Herrmann promises that she will come up with something just as good and not to worry, but she isn't so sure that's true.
