When Firehouse 51 is called to the scene of a dangerous blaze inside a 10-story storage unit, Herrmann and Cruz find themselves trapped inside a freight elevator with two civilians.

One the cables snaps, and the elevator falls for a few feet, sending supplies everywhere.

Herrmann and Cruz then realize all communications are cut off, as they try to radio for help.

Cruz then reveals Chloe is pregnant.

Cruz has fears about bringing a child into this world, especially right now.

Herrmann says everything will be OK because the child will have Cruz and Chloe as parents.

Holly starts freaking out, which is only worsened when the second cable snaps.

Cruz tries to reset the elevator panel, but it becomes fried when Holly takes matters into her own hands.

The panel shocks her, and she becomes unconscious.

Herrmann and Cruz then realize they need to lighten the elevator's load and set to work dumping out some paint stripper.

Sparks then ignite, and Cruz works to get the hatch open.

The foursome climb out of the hatch, and radio communication works.

Squad 3 rescues everyone.
