On Chicago Fire Season 3 Episode 6 Casey continues to fight for his sister through her divorce battle. Meanwhile, Brett and Severide worked to help a mother regain custody of her son.

Casey tries several attempts to get his future ex brother-in-law Jim to be fair to his sister Christie through their divorce. Christie would like to just settle, but that's not good enough for Casey. When Jim doesn't comply, Casey investigates his mistress, and is able to recover information that changes Jim's mind.

Dawson has begun her training with Herrmann and feels as though he's treating her like a child. Casey advises her to confront Herrmann and when she does, he agrees to back off some. He tells her that it's his job to make sure she becomes a great firefighter, and that's not something he takes lightly.

Following the rescue of a young boy, Brett and Severide attempt to help his mother when the boy is removed from her care due to allegations of abuse and neglect that occurred years earlier. The mother is now clean and wants her boy back. Severide and Brett agree that she needs a second chance and they help get the boy back.

Meanwhile, Severide is still trying to recruit people to head to Vegas with him but no one wants to join. He goes by himself, and by the end of the episode finds himself in the company of a very beautiful stranger. To see what happens, watch Chicago Fire online via TV Fanatic.
