Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 11 revolves around ethical dilemmas.

When a famous athlete comes in who needs a liver transplant, Randall is eager to do it for the publicity it will bring the hospital, but Marcel and Blake veto it because the man is an alcoholic who drank recently. Undeterred by ethical rules, Randall finds another surgeon who is willing to do the procedure and a patient to serve as a living donor. The patient suffers from an anxiety disorder and is reluctant to back out despite his fear of the procedure.

Elsewhere, a woman collapses in the hospital waiting room and it turns out she's septic thanks to a back-alley plastic surgery. A man comes who claims to be her father, but is really the surgeon who did the procedure. Charles confronts him and the man confesses to doing illegal surgeries in his garage after coming to America to escape persecution.

Finally, Scott treats a little boy whose parents know him. They all used to be friends, but when he was a cop he arrested the father and had an affair with the mother. The kid turns out to have cancer but the father doesn't want to listen to Scott because of their past.

Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 11 Quotes

Sharon: Every one of these doctors who is named as a defendant shouldn't be. They didn't do anything wrong. They shouldn't be punished.
Randall: I agree, but we can't let this play out in the media. The court that's really going to matter is the court of public opinion.

Stevie: That's quite a look. You enjoying hitting the lanes?
Will: It's mostly a fashion statement, but I do enjoy rolling a ball once in a while.
