With Lonnie Rodiger's death looming over the Intelligence Unit, Jay is stripped of his badge and gun and sent home. The police have cameras that point to Jay following Rodiger in his car a few hours before his death. In a car wreck, a man escapes on foot after being freed. A body torso is found in the trunk. With the help of Kelly Severide the unit finds a new lead in the torso murder.
Stillwell tells Jay he should give a statement. Voight tells Antonio he's responsible. Antonio later meets Jay and asks if he did it, and then gives him a file about Rodiger. Jay figures out that Frank Rodiger, the father of the victim, is the one killed his son.
Severide visits Erin's apartment and kisses her. Burgess and Ruzek kiss.
