- Voight meets up with special agent North at the FBI office to talk about Roy.
- North says that Roy never left the city and he wants to talk to the unit.
- They respond to a man who was stabbed and Halstead finds the man's daughter in the closet.
- The track down a suspect knowing that he may have been working with their victim.
- They talk to the vic's daughters to get more information. Their father dies.
- Voight tells Hailey and Jay about the FBI investigation, and North shows up at the precinct to talk to the others.
- Trudy tells Voight that North has pulled everything there is to know about everyone in the unit. He wants her to find out what North knows.
- North talks to everyone.
- Candace, the vic's daughter's boyfriend becomes a suspect.
- North notices a discrepancy about Hailey's whereabouts but Voight pulls her out.
- The boyfriend tells them that Darlene, the other daughter, told him not to come into the house the day of the murder.
- They check Darlene and notice that she has defensive scratches. She and Candace get locked up until they can figure out more.
- Voight has Trudy talk to Carmela, the hostage from sometime ago who overheard Hailey say they would tell the world what happened. She says that North talked to her already.
- North is ambitious and wants to make it to running the CHicago office. He asked for the case.
- North has found all the loose ends and Voight finds FBI bugs in his car and a tracker.
- Halstead finds him and demands to know what all the FBI knows so they can protect Hailey.
- Halstead tells Hailey that she is the FBI's target.
- They get a confession from the girls the next day.
- Hailey meets up with North again to talk. Hailey refuses to answer. When he lays out things, she calls him out and leaves.
- Hailey tells Halstead that their case is off and that the girls were playing them
- They figure out that Darlene tried to save their father and it was Candace who killed him. They arrest her.
- North pulls Halstead over and has him follow him. They found Roy's bones. North tells him that Halstead was the one who led him there. He tells Halstead that either Hailey goes down or he can help him take down Hank like he wants.
