- Jay and Hailey share their news with everyone.
- Voight warns Hailey that the Feds got a hit that Roy was in another state and that they're probably doing that to see if someone reacts.
- They investigate when a team of armed robberies hit a place with c4 and hurt a young girl.
- They figure out that the concoction used was from a military base, and Halstead recognizes a name on the list rom Afghanistan.
- Only Halstead and someone named Elliot Knox know how to make that specific formula.
- Halstead attends a veterans meeting where Elliott is and goes undercover.
- Knox calls Jay "Ricky" and talks about how Halstead was always cool and never seemed fazed by anything.
- Hailey tries to talk to Jay about the nickname and other stuf, but he'es short and sharp with her.
- Jay investigates Knox's house when he heads there to hang out. He finds the sticky bombs and gives the code word when Knox catches him.
- Halstead tells Knox that the little girl died. The interview KNox and lean that he just makes the explosives, he doesn't rob the banks.
- They find ou tthat a Davis is who buys the bombs from Knox and he's the one who runs with the crew.
- Jay goes off on Knox when Knox brings up taht everyone uses him and throws him away including Jay.
- They get a call to another robbery. It's a shootout with the armed robbers in the street.
- One of them gets hit with a garbage truck when he's taking a woman out of her car.
- Hailey suggest to Voight that they use Knox again who hasn't been made. Halstead is opposed, but he doesn't have any other optionis. Knox introduces Jay as a sniper to replace the guy they lost.
- Jay proposes it to Knox and they talk about something they did wrong in Afghanistan.
- Jay proves to the crew that he can shoot.
- Jay goes to the site but no one is there yet and he sees that KNox's tracker implies he may have gotten made.
- They get to the scene and find the guy they were investigating dead execution style. His fingernails are pulled out. Jay guesses that it was Knox. They find Davis who was also shot and says that he thought they were Knox and please help him
- They track Knox down at a storage facility after Davis gives thema head's up. Hailey holds him at gunpoint, but he pulls out a gun. Jay captures him.
- Jay tells Hailey how he got the name Ricky. He also tells her about how Knox found the person responsible for kiling one of their friends. Knox killed everyone including the kids and covered it up.
- He asks if she has anything to share, and she doesnt.
