-Air Force Officer Christian Bettany is sent to get checked out for his insomnia. Trang won't issue him sleeping pills until Pedersen evaluates him.

-Simon hitchhikes on a medevac helicopter to check out a farm he owns in the area. The chopper is diverted to pick up a wounded soldier, keeping Simon away from the base longer than he expected.

-A wounded man needs brain surgery and Simon is no where to be found. 

-Lt. Bettany is able to set up a comm link so that Simon can talk Rebecca through the surgery from the helicopter. The patient lives.

-Unfortunately, Bettany exhibits signs of mental illness and will be sent home, despite his stellar record.

-Marks uses Simon's private stash of vodka as target practice as punishment for leaving the base. Simon swears he will never do it again.
