Recap

Noor is a guest on a true crime podcast called Slaughter Into Wine. She discusses Dyanne Tucci, a woman in an abusive marriage who disapeared some time ago.

McAvoy visits Jenny in the sleep clinic, and asks for her help with the Tucci case.

Dr. Sharma chastises Jenny for working on a case during her sleep testing. He says she seems to be sleeping easier in the clinic, which is unusual, and implies that whatever is making her sleepwalk is at home.

Jenny gets an MD named John who came for help with his insomnia to help her steal back the file. He helps her with the case. Dr. Sharma tells Jenny she never left her room. She hallucinated John Fernandez, who is the main character in a TV show her faher likes about a Coroner. Her calls to Mcavoy were real. The rest was in her head.

Someone sent an email to the podcast saying they were with Shane Tucci the night Dyanne disapeared, and his alibi is bogus.

Lucy tracks the email to Freddie Haslem, Shane's alibi. Bonnie, his partner sent the email. She and Freddie were on their first date with Shane the night Dyanne disapeared. Bonnie saw Shane leave, and tell Freddie to keep buying drinks on his card.

Jenny figures out that the weight bearing van was a service vehicle that transported cleaning supplies. Freddie did deliveries for Crestwall. Jenny determines that Shane disolved Dyanne using the cleaning supplies. They take the pipes, and River holds a Plumbing License. They find congeled human fat, galstones, and human teeth in the pipes.

Liam's parents show up. His mother, Elodie, gives him a hard time about not visiting Mal. She believes his suicide attempt was an accident.

McAvoy and Noor kiss.

Coroner Season 2 Episode 6 Quotes

McAvoy: If you happened to have a little downtime today, take a look at a file for me. A friend of mine is helping out one of those true crime podcasts. They think they might have something new.
Jenny: Where's the body?
McAvoy: That's the thing. There isn't one.
Jenny: Okay, how do you -?
McAvoy: Just have a look at it for me with those Jenny eyes. If anything jumps out at you, call me.

Jenny: You don't have to say it. I know I look like a lab rat.
McAvoy: No, you look fine. Like a Jenny Marionette.
