In the aftermath of the Wilcox's attack on the helicopter and Teo's death, Annie goes in search of answers about Henry's plans. She heads to Germany and has to avoid both the law and the CIA as Calder as been sent to bring her in. When one of Calder's operatives is gunned down, Annie is named a rogue agent. Her only hope to uncover Henry's true plans are to go dark. She enlists Calder's help to fake her death. 

Meanwhile, in Washington Joan is relieved from her post at the CIA and Arthur is taken into custody for his activities with Teo. Auggie gets booted as well as her attacked Wilcox, who has infiltrated the CIA operation to get Annie.

The investigation into Wilcox is left to a supposedly dead Annie who is now out on her own.
