On Criminal Minds Season 10 Episode 19, Section Chief Mateo Cruz tasks an international BAU team (lead by Jack Garrett) to join up with Hotch's BAU team to hunt down an unsub who's been abducting vacationing families and then killing them.

The unsub's latest target is a family who just arrived in Barbados. The unsub offered to let them hire him and his van. He subdued them by offering them bottles of water laced with Rohipno.

Cruz warns the two teams that time is running out and they have twelves hours before the unsub will likely kill the family.

The team determines that the unsub is a young man who is using the family as surrogates for his own family, whom he murdered when he was fifteen years old. Each time he has abducted a family, he has tortured them by using water to almost drown them, and has used his belt to whip them. His main focus has usually been the father.

While walking around on the island, Hotch and Lambert spot a man who fits the physical profile of the unsub, who is driving a van. After he gets out they give chase and catch him, only to discover he's a coke dealer who hasn't been on the island long enough to be the unsub.

Using their profile, the teams determine that the unsub has inherited his uncle's fishing charter business. They then figure out he has the family on a boat.

The only problem is that there are a great many boats sitting around the island, and they have only a few hours in which to find him and the captive family.

When the Sullivan family makes a few escape attempts, the unsub realizes he needs to get them under control. To the horror of the Sullivan family, he throws Nick over the side of the boat.

Meanwhile, the BAU teams race against the clock to identify the boat and effect a rescue. Will they make it to them in time? Will the boy be rescued from the water?
