The BAU are called to investigate the serial murder of two johns and a hooker, all of whom were killed by the same gun.

A troubled man by the name of Danny Lee Stokes comes home and is comforted by two tenants in his building, Patricia Valdez and her daughter Milena. He is suffering from severe headaches which he attempts to medicate by drinking vodka.

As the BAU sorts through the evidence, Danny goes out and breaks up what he thinks is a mugging by killing a man. He later kills a man he thinks is raping a woman.

The BAU determine that their unsub is a severe paranoid schizophrenic who sees himself as a moral enforcer.

Meanwhile, Patricia and Milena encourage him to continue protecting them.

Meanwhile, the pedophile "Bobby" who's been stalking Kate's niece Meg and Meg's friend Markayla is finally making his move on them.
