Forest meets with Laine, a senator, to discuss Amaya's tech monopoly. She questions him about DEVS. She wants Amaya to have governmental oversight. 

Forest downplays what DEVS is working on and lets Laine believe it is a weather prediction system.

Lily arrives late to a work meeting, clearly out of it. She confides in a co-worker named Anya that she thinks Sergei's suicide was faked.
