The Doctor and Danny Pink are on course to meet up. Skovox Blitzer prepares to destroy mankind, using the Coal Hill school as its destination of choice.

Clara is being put through the ringer as she runs through dates with Danny and "things" with The Doctor.

The Doctor goes deep undercover at a caretaker at the Coal Hill School and Clara does her best to steer clear from him, but she cannot.

Clara is quite surprised to learn that The Doctor approves of Danny Pink, but that's only because he doesn't know Danny Pink and thinks she is involved with another guy.

The Doctor meets up with Skovox Blitzer and Danny walks into the room just as the confrontation begins. Clara jumps in and saves Danny but The Doctor seems to think that Danny is a problem because he moved one of The Doctor's gizmos.

Danny Pink thinks Clara is from space. She decides off the cuff that she and The Doctor are rehearsing a play, and the creature was one of the kids in fancy dress.

Danny realizes that The Doctor isn't the caretaker, but her dad. Her space dad.

Clara declares her love for Danny and then she and The Doctor show him the TARDIS. He's still not convinced things are OK, even after learning Clara goes on adventures with the alien Doctor.

Danny wants to know who Clara is when she's with The Doctor.

Clara gives Danny the invisibility watch so he can enter the TARDIS with her and discover how she is with The Doctor. 

Clara tries to convince The Doctor that she doesn't want to go on a "thing" but he knows Danny is in the TARDIS so Danny pops out. It doesn't go well. The soldier and the officer clash greatly.

The Doctor shows one of the students the inside of the TARDIS and when she asks if she can go into space, The Doctor reveals there just may be a vacancy.

How much time has passed this season? The parents of Courtney say since Courtney is a disruptive influence and last year Danny said she was a very disruptive influence that it must be an improvement.

Danny saves the day and he and The Doctor come to an understanding.

The Doctor took Courtney Woods on a space adventure.

Danny tells Clara if The Doctor ever pushes her too far, she has to tell him. If she breaks that promise and he can't help her, they're finished.

The episode ends with another trip to heaven. Missy is  bit busy today, so she's not the one who greets a policeman killed during The Doctor's adventure.
