Foxhouse is the creation of Joss Whedon, the man that has delivered cult favorites such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly.
In this drama, Echo (Eliza Dushku) is an "Active," a member of an illegal, underground group that have had its personalities wiped clean so each individual can be imprinted with a series of new personas.
The unit is confined to a secret facility. It's referred to as the "Dollhouse," as Echo and the other Actives carry out engagements assigned by their boss, Adelle.
These tasks typically cater to the wealthy, powerful and connected, as each requires the Actives to immerse themselves in various, dangerous scenarios.
