Recap

The midseason finale brought drama to the courtroom for the trial of Blake Carrington.

Culhane, Anders, and Fallon all took the stand after being called about the prosecution.

Culhane immediately destroyed Blake's character and assured the jury that he was more than capable of murder even adding that he knew first hand because Blake "killed his father."

Fallon, who didn't want to testify because she didn't want to taunt the launch of her first issue Fallon Unlimited, made a scene after admitting that Blake was capable of murder just like any other human.

In his defense, Blake's lawyer tore her apart as a "spoiled rich brat," and Fallon threw the gavel as an objection.

Since Liam was covering the trial for her magazine and wanted to remain unbiased, he didn't paint her in the best light, so Fallon retaliated by sneaking into her own office and destroying the whole issue forcing them to start from scratch.

When Blake found out what she did, he applauded her for being just like him. This didn't sit well with Fallon and she started an apology tour in hopes of becoming a better person.

The first person she apologized to was Liam, who she kept trying to control.

The next person was Adam, whom she tricked into believing that his girlfriend and helper, Nadia, was sleeping with Blake.

She paid off Nadia a sum of money to "disappear."

After overhearing the fake fight between Nadia, Cristal, and Fallon, Adam got drunk off of Blake's wine.

The next morning he woke up with his eyesight back intact and retaliated against his father by burning down the whole winery.

Fallon and Liam arrived at the scene to find Adam standing above the scorched field.

Fallon began to apologize before realizing that Adam was faking his blindness.

She threw a potted plant at him to gauge his reaction which triggered Liam's pre-amnesia memories. He remembered that Adam was responsible for hitting him upside the head causing him to nearly die.

Liam lunged at Adam and they both teetered on the edge of the barn. What a cliffhanger.

Meanwhile, Anders dedicated his time to finding out who the mole is within the Manor since the DA had a "secret witness."

He deduced that it was his daughter, Kirby, and told Blake, who "took care of it" by exiling her out of Atlanta.

However, it turns out that the FBI was talking to Kirby about her new boyfriend, Joel, who was responsible for "tax fraud."

Anders took the stand after scoring immunity from the prosecution and confessed to killing Mack as " self-defense."

Blake was so grateful that he told Anders to invite Kirby back to the Manor, but she was already leaving town with her suspicious boyfriend.

Blake and Anders celebrated outsmarting the DA, but they failed to properly identify the secret witness: Alexis Carrington Colby.

The ex-wife returned with a new face (Parent Trap's Elaine Hendrix) and a new husband on her arm, the one and only, Jeff Colby. Yes, Fallon's cousin.

Dominique weaseled her way into the courtroom to make a scene and gain attention in hopes of launching her daughter Vanessa's music career.

Except Vanessa wasn't interested in all her mother's melodrama and decided to leave to New York with Monica.

Dynasty Season 3 Episode 8 Quotes

Sammy: Not to bet against the house, or, the Manor in this case, but didn't they find Mack wrapped in a body bag with your DNA on it?
Blake: Oh, a drop of DNA will never hold up in court against my army of lawyers.
Sammy: And the justice system wins again.

Cristal: I hope this works and Blake finally sees Adam for what he is.
Fallon: Oh, it'll work. Adam isn't exactly subtle when he's upset. I mean, he usually snaps in the craziest way possible like putting my face on my mother.
