A man bikes to Irving Street and gets his barbecue place ready for the day. Howeve,r he finds a body at the bottom of the cellar stairs.

REgina and Sean are together. Regina doesn't want to be late. She and Sean kiss. He's worried she'll get bored of him if they don't have to sneak around. Regina wants to go away for a weekend.  He suggests a place in the Berkshires.

Sandeford talks about how great the barbecue was. Bentley never ate there.

Killian questions the witness.

Morales talks to the victim's son who says he and Mom tried to tell him not to work so hard.

Terrell's bank deposits are missing.

Booker Jr says they closed at 11 and that his father let in some stragglers after they closed.

Suarez shows up while Mrs. Booker is takling to Regina. The woman runs to him and hugs him. After she leaves, Suarez tells Regina that he gave her credit on that interview and it was edited out. Regina says he doesn't owe her any explanations. They discuss the case.

Morales talks to Javier in the station. He tells her in Spanish that Terrell wanted to open another location and owed someone money.

Regina's father shows up. He says she knows the men who are being charged with corruption her whole life and that they want to know ahead of time if they need a lawyer. Regina will see what she can find out. Also he wants to know if Regina is going out with someone. She declines to tell him much.

Yenko hears a call over the radio for an Italian-speaking officer and says he has been doing well in his lessons.

Yenko can't keep up with the victim's Italian. Luckily, Brandy can. The woman is upset that the tieves stole her late dog's ashes.

Morales and Killian takl to Papadopolius who says he is loud because he is Greek and doesn't know why they are asking questions. He is surprised to hear Tyrell is dead. He says tat Tyrell's son owes him 80K for a new restaurant. They argued but then they talked about their sons and made up and went out for breakfast. He says he didn't got to Darnell directly because Darnell is violent.

The cops go to talk to Darnell who is hostile. The cops make him go with them.

Yenko looks at security footage. Brandy notices the woman has more makeup than usual and thinks she wants to look good for Yenko.

Darnell says his father didn't want to help him with his restaurant. He wanted to go out on his own. He is disdainful of his brother's Dartmouth-learned strategies. He says he went to see his dad at 8 pm last night and his girlfriend ordered him a cab but he won't tell them who she is at first. He finally does and also gives them the name of the quity group his brother worked with.

Regina gets a call that Sean is here. He got a transfer to the NY FBI

Regina tells Suarez that there was no forced entry. Also what's the status of the Walsh trial? Suarez will see what he can find out.

Mrs. Booker is upset that Darnell was arrested and says Suarez will hear about this. Tyrell's other son is concerned about the press when he wants to open a restaurant in Vegas. His dad had been excited about it at first then backed out.

Killian and Morales talk to a woman who says that the son assured her he could get his dad back on board. She says Tyrell Jr was very upset -- did he talk to them?

The cops look at the paperwork. Morales wonders why there was no waiver for Darnell since the restaurant would be called Booker and Sons. They find a DNA test in the paperwork with strange results.

Yenko sees a man steal the decoy package and sends Sandeford and Benetley after him. The man runs from the cops. Bentley tackles him and gets full of glitter before arresting him.

Brandy cleans up Bentley's uniform. He asks how her mother is. She says Ann-Marie and Duke went to St. Barts. She kisses his cheek and leaves.

Gustavo claims he found the package and was bringing it back. He is shocked to hear this is a felony and insists he didn't know the box belonged to someone. He finally admits he stashes the boxes and sells their contents.

Tyrell and Darnell come into the precinct. They are angry at each other and when Regina mentions the DNA test Darnell says it is cultural appropriation. Suarez breaks the news that the DNA test shows Tyrell Jr was not biologically Tyrell Sr's child. Tyrell Jr's father was a convicted murderer who is dead. Darnell tries to tell him that he's still his brother and this doesn't matter. Tyrell sobs in Darnell's arms.

The cops open a garage and find a ton of boxes all over the place. They find Mimi's ashes.

Suarez and Regina talk to Mrs. Booker. She says Tyrell Jr loved him and he loved Tyrell Jr. She didn't care about biology. However Tyrell Sr couldn't get it out of his head and was looking at calendars to see if she had cheated on him back then. She says he wanted to tell Tyrell Jr. She blocked his way and he pushed her and they slapped each other. They were at the top of the stairs and she pushed him.  She is arrested.

Yenko delivers the ashes. The woman wants to make him something. He tells her in Italian his wife is waiting for him and she says in Italian antoerh time.

Regina and Sean talk about the case and how sad this is. He wants to go to dinner with her.

Suarez shows up wanting to talk to Regina. She introduces him to Sean before goign to her office. He tells her a bunch of dirty cops are about to be indicted for murder and one of them is her father.

Regina tells Sean she has to cancel their trip for the weekend.
