Cookie was admitted to hospital, and the doctor said it was going to be a long night so the family should find a way to be by her side. 

Andre showed up and everyone made it clear they wanted him gone. Lucious went to the chapel when everyone started to pray and complained about it being bad enough his parents were taken from him. 

Cookie survived the night and was put under strict bed rest and told that she would need to release her stress and change her diet. 

That was enough for her to try and work at home, but Lucious sent her sisters in to look after her when he struggled to keep her from work. 

Cookie wound up bringing Empire to her living room when she realized there was something odd going on. 

Andre learned that Eddie was up to something with the numbers, and took it to the family. When confronted, he maintained that he was looking out for the company and that they should be happy about that. 

He was struck off and told to go on a break. 

Lucious admitted to Cookie that something needed to be done about Andre. 

Also, Jamal screwed up an appearance on GMA when he said he was not sorry for killing Angelo because the Dubois family were trying to take the Lyons down.
