Recap

A seemingly normal day is shattered on FBI Season 1 Episode 1 when multiple bombs begin going off in the city of New York. Multiple people are injured and a young boy is killed. But agents Maggie Bell and OA Zidan step in to investigate and do their best to make sure a third bomb doesn't go off. Their investigation is tricky, but thankfully they aren't held back by their superiors, but rather encouraged to do whatever is necessary to make sure the city is safe. Though there are added wrenches into the investigation, especially when OA gets personally involved when his religion is brought into matters and his protective instincts are ignited. But he isn't the only one getting invested as Maggie feels a sense of guilt and responsibility for the loss of a little boy. Something that has more to do with her grief as a widow than anything else. While the pasts of Maggie and OA haven't been explained yet, it's clear they both have their fair share of baggage. But will these problems and personal attachments get in the way of Maggie and OA being able to not only prevent the third bomb from going off, but also from catching the bomber behind it all?

OA: Not anymore. They got way more high tech stuff now.

Maggie: I never saw Emmett Grant, but I can't get him out of my head
OA: A lot of people made it out of that building because of you. That matters.
