On the fishing boat, Gabriella, Manny, Colin, and Vince try to rescue a fisherman whose hand is trapped in a machine.

Gabriella and Manny keep on bantering.

When the inmate firefighters radio, the communication is caught by Sharon while at the hospital.

Sharon helps coordinate Eve's rescue with the inmate firefighters and the rescue team.

The team at the fishing boat continues to attempt the rescue.

They rescue Eve, but Rebecca trips and falls, hurting herself.

Sharon tries to guide the inmate firefighters on how to rescue Rebecca. They learn that the fallen tree had been cut earlier but not marked.

The hospital wants Sharon wheeled into surgery.

The inmate firefighters use their jackets to try and make a makeshift stretcher to carry Rebecca to safety.

Rebecca is taken to surgery when her spleen raptures but doesn't make it. Bode is beside himself in learning the news. Gabriella attempts to comfort him.

Bode is approved for furlough and sees his mom in the hospital.

Sharon and Jake wake up to learn that the transplant didn't happen because Jake had an allergic reaction to the anesthesia.

They are both devastated.

Manny receives a call from fire HQ and learns that he is a person of interest in an ongoing fire investigation.
