Bode prepares to write Rebecca's eulogy as the other inmate firefighters watch a news report of a massive fire in Drake County. Manny shows up, and the conversation takes a bad turn.

Eve comes to hand in her leave of absence letter, but Vince talks him out of it. A call comes in requesting assistance fighting the Drake fire and evacuating a prison.

The inmate firefighters and Station 42 respond to it.

Colin tries to bond with Jake but he is shot down.

Station 42 visits a prison that has since turned riotous as the fire advances.

The inmate firefighters join Lieut. Pelham and his crew, and he goes hard on them.

In the prison, the team attempts to help a man who has been stabbed.

Sharon learns that the fire investigation office is looking into the Station because they believe the arsonist is one of the crew members.

Pelham continues working the teams hard even when the fire threatens to overtake them. Manny is against proceeding with the efforts, but Bode and Pelham decide to want to continue.

The team tries to put out a prison fire that started after gangs start fighting.

The fire investigator provides the facts of the case to Sharon, who promises to look into the crew and provide them with alibis.

Bode goes against Manny and teams up with Pelham to continue to fight the fire. It becomes too much for them, and Bode advises that they abandon the efforts.

Treating prisoners proves hard when the gangs keep fighting, so Vince talks with the prison gang leaders to ask them to call a truce and let their people be saved.

They all agree, and the prison is evacuated.

Pelham agrees to abandon the rescue efforts on Bode's advice.

Bode gives the eulogy at Rebecca's funeral.

Vince advises Eve to seek some mental health support.

Jake and Colin bond over their fathers. They talk about their relationships with fire and firefighting.

Sharon talks to Manny and reveals that the fire investigators are looking into Jake as the arsonist.
