Gary finds out that Allison is throwing a release party for Dr. Krandall's new self help book.  Allison is doing it to introduce herself to Krandall's friends.  Trying to make sure he's not outdone, Gary asks Vanessa to introduce him to her friends.  When their respective meetings don't go well, Gary and Allison blame each other.
