A Fine & Frugal grocery store is robbed by three masked assailants.

Flashbacks show Annie Boland is a mother of four and her husband Dean owns a car dealership. Her sister Annie works at the Fine & Frugal and is a single parent. Their friend Ruby is the mother of a daughter who is very ill.

The three friends meet at the diner Ruby works at and jokingly discuss robbing Annie's grocery store.

Later, Beth finds out her husband is having an affair and they are in danger of losing their house. This prompts her to agree to the plan to rob the grocery.

The three ladies rob the grocery store and make away with $500,000. They agree not to spend it, as that was much more money than they anticipated, but soon each lady spends a fair amount of their portion.

Soon thereafter, Beth arrives home to three gang members in her kitchen. They want the money back that they were housing at the grocery store.

The ladies attempt to recoup the money but still find themselves short.

Annie's boss, Boomer, shows up at her apartment to tell her he knows she was one of the robbers because he saw her back tattoo. He wants sexual favors in exchange for her silence. After forcing himself on her, Beth hears Annie's pleas from the bathroom and confronts Boomer.

When he threatens to tell the police, Beth hits him over the head with a bottle of liquor and he subsequently falls through a glass table & lays there motionless.
