Malika confronts Wilson with a passionate speech shaming him before she's arrested and removed from the premises. Wilson speaks to Callie afterward. She mentions that he didn't hold his own son accountable when Wilson mentions filing charges against Malika. Callie quits and says she's not passionate about working there.

Wilson's secretary Naomi gives another emotional monologue requesting that Wilson show Malika leniency. She explains why Malika did what she did .Wilson seemingly listens.

Callie isn't mad at Malika. They drink and talk about their lives. Callie took a brown from Jamie as she tried to figure out what she needed. He agreed to it. She is seeking jobs and wanted to wait until she passed the bar to work at the ACLU and similar places.

Elijah, Gael's old flame comes to visit. Callie realizes who he is. The two of them reconnected and Elijah apologized.

Callie finds out she didn't pass the bar and calls Jamie to comfort her.

Isaac asks malika to come to his family's for family dinner. Malika and Sandra talk and she decides to take a break from her activism.

She finds a letter from her father in her mother's things when she and Dom are going through them, and she goes to meet her father.

Mariana works with Evan to improve work conditions. She also has to support herself and Callie while Callie is unemployed. Evan declares a women's day at the office, but Mariana reminds him he has to do more than that like equal pay and more women in the all male board room.

Mariana has a sexy dream about Evan.

She decides to have sex with Raj at the office after a talk with her roommates. She does, but Evan sees them and suggests to angela that one of the things the new grievance committee should do is ensure superiors aren't sleeping with those working beneath them. She has to stop dating Raj.

Davia doesn't know how to tell Jeff she doesn't want to be with him. She tells him she doesn't want to leave LA, but he shockingly decides to move there for her.

Davia tries to do a number of things to help Dennis. She gets him exercising, changes his diet, and she makes him go to a grief support group.

Dennis walks out of it after she leaves him and when she talks to him about it he shuts her out. She tells him as much.

When he has a moment where he feels suicidal again, he goes to her and asks to stay with her. He has trouble resting, but she snuggles with him.
